quinn meets his other grandparents

last night i was too tired to post, so this is actually thursday and friday.

thursday afternoon my parents flew in. because i wanted to be there the first time they saw quinn, i had them meet me at my office and hang out at starbucks until 5. while we were waiting to get home, quinn was looking all cute in the boppy with some activity time.

after activity time, kel put quinn in his crib for the first time. for some reason, he kept swinging his legs over to his left. kel finally had to put a rolled up blanket to try and keep him straight. as the picture shows, it only moderately worked. quinn is a stubborn lad.

at 5:30, i was able to get off work, we drove home, and grammy and grandpa were able to meet their grandson. here is grammy and quinn. that picture on the bookcase of quinn in his church outfit was taken at the hospital as his official baby picture.

quinn is so lucky to have two sets of happy grandparents. this is where we all said good-bye to quinn because the big dog has been holding him since this picture.

quinn got in on the sleeping action. so peaceful.

on friday i had to go into work and quinn had a doctor's appointment. he weighed in at 6 pounds 11 ounces so that is wonderful news. the picture below could have been taken before or after because grandpa didn't want to let him go. the dogs are cute in this picture, watching out for quinn.

grandpa and grandson... quinn is going to be so pampered!

the dogs have not had much exercise lately so the big dog played outside with them for a good while. they got very muddy so after a bath and brushing, they rewarded him with some cuddle time. this is such a fun feeling. throw quinn in there and it wouldn't get much better for a little television watching.

this last picture is of quinn's beautiful feet. they are so soft and are fun to rub against my face.

that is where we are now. quinn is gaining weight which is the best news of the past couple days. with my parents here we will probably have a ton of pictures to choose from so hopefully i will be able to blog daily again. kel and i are so excited about tomorrow... gigi, grammy, and grandpa promised to watch him in the morning allowing us to sleep in. what a present!
