meeting aunt kathryn

this morning was enjoyable. quinn had his best night of sleeping yet so kel and i felt pretty good. add in to that a nap kel had for 2.5 hours and we actually felt normal for a little while.

this afternoon, i went to soccer practice while gigi and kel took quinn to pick up papa and meet his aunt kathryn. i was away at practice and then dinner (more later in the post), so don't blame me for the lack of photos! we will do better over the remaining days of her visit. here she is holding quinn in another of his cute new outfits.

for valentine's day, kel & i are not doing much other than enjoying our new family member, but i did get us reservations at ma soba tonight. we were not sure if feeding times would allow it yet it worked out perfectly and we had three baby sitters who graciously allowed us a night out. over dinner we determined that not counting when one made valentine's day dinner for the other, we have always spent it at ma soba. this trip had the added benefit of kelli finally being able to eat raw fish again. sadly no pictures from dinner. for that you can blame me.

when we got home, quinn ate then i got to take him for activity time. we had some tummy time...

... and then some lounging time. he is always looking around and when he sees something of interest his eyes get real big! you can see the white all around his pupil and he looks adorable. i am just happy he is curious and enjoying (based on no crying) his surroundings.

not too many pictures tonight but with papa and aunt kat in town, we should be taking more and more. tomorrow is quinn's first time to go to church. how exciting. we already have his outfit selected! until then...
