did quinn hear the sermon?

we took quinn to church this morning thanks to a concerted effort on the part of all involved. not only did we have to get quinn fed and dressed in his sunday's finest but we had 5 adults sharing one tiny bathroom. we weren't even that late. at church, his first sermon was on nehemiah, chapter 2. curtis did a great job describing the context of the story in its original timing of 445 bc and then relating it to our current lives. at church, he met ameliah for the first time. ameliah is our friends dan & ann's little girl born 39-40 hours before quinn.

contrary to the picture below, quinn was an angel in church. he sat in his car seat and bundle me blanket and didn't make a peep the entire service.

i do realize i have been writing "his first" a lot. of course you all know it's his first since he is only ten days old so pardon my incorrect writing technique.

additionally, some have asked his 'correct' name. his full legal name is quentin walker besancon, named after my middle name (which was named after my paternal grandfather) and kel's maiden name. we are going to call him quinn, as you could have guessed from the posts.
