cow catcher

yesterday was cow appreciation day at chick-fil-a! i love this event - we did it for the first time 2 years ago in boston when quinn was 5 months old. so this time, i dressed quinn and caroline like cows and we enjoyed free food, visiting with new friends, and a picture with the chick-fil-a cow. quinn was pretty much in awe of him.

when quinn gets really excited about a story he's telling, he will get right up in your face and use this goofy voice....it's nearly impossible to keep a straight face when he does it but it's so cute. when john got home last night quinn was telling him about our day. the conversation went something like this:
      j: what did you do today?
     q: chicka fway!
      j: that sounds fun!
     q: (in his goofy voice, with his face about 3 inches from john's) we saw a BIIIIIGGGG cow there!

clearly, that cow was the highlight of his trip.
