one night we did go out, we went down to the stockyards to fulfill liz's desire to ride a mechanical bull. unfortunately we didn't get a good picture of her face, but her form was impeccable.
i went ahead and did it as well so she wouldn't be the only one. humblebrag here: when exiting, a random guy said, "wow, you were really good". we know i wasn't, but...
throughout the week, she was a huge help for kelli, entertaining quinn. look closely and you can see that yes, those are dr. pepper dominoes!
the last night she was here, we found this recipe online for milky way brownies. here is the amount of milky way's that went into the brownies. liz could barely contain herself!
and here is the finished product, complete with a huge milky way smile on the brownies!
needless to say we had a fantastic time. thank you for coming to texas, liz! we miss you but look forward to your next visit.

i approve of almost all of those pictures. :) it was a fantastic visit, and i, too, am looking forward to more quality time together!
in the defence of the bull, it is very hard to throw off that much weight. :)
