schmorgasborg, hodge podge, what have you

is this what the vice president feels like? sitting around doing nothing? kel has been carrying this blog lately but with baby girl coming any day now, i need to get back into the swing of things...

to start, here are a couple of random pictures from the past few months that make me smile.

this is back from august when we went to canton's first monday. he has really taken off with wanting to push the stroller or shopping cart or pretty much anything. he looks like a real boy in this picuture... growing up too fast!

this is from our trip to the arboretum. nothing exquisite here... i just like the picture.

this was taken when celebrating kel's birthday (context clue of the cake with candles). q enjoyed helping to blow out the candles and wanted them lit again immediately.

upcoming post with christmas decor later, but afterwards q found a box and decided it would be the best place to read a book.

in the book he is reading (from chik-fil-a), the barn animals all want to help the farmer on his birthday. the cow offers milk; the horse to pull his plow, etc. the turkey is clearly the most committed, though... it offers to decorate his table at thanksgiving. morbid... na klar!

another item i have enjoyed lately is how excited and happy quinn has started to get when offered a sticker. the latest example came when we went to kroger on black friday. a worker there gave q a sticker that said "i went krogering" and had a smiley face on it. he thought it was the coolest thing and wanted to keep it to show gigi and papa later that afternoon. moments like those are so refreshing, just to see joy and awe at simple things.

it is so fun being a parent!

have fun with those stickers. You're going to be finding them ALL over the house. Soon you'll be thinking...NO MORE STICKERS!!!!
Advice - a notebook to put them in.
