here is my impressive beard... growth time: 1 year 4 months. ok, it was 5 weeks. kelli loved every minute of it.
i must say, it gave me amazing powers. here i am displaying how it allowed me to read a dvd case. hot fuzz, of course. pensive.
it created in me an academic side i didn't know existed. these comics don't exactly read themselves.
without stating the obvious, it provided the strength of 100 men.
eventually, kelli put a no kissing rule into affect until it was gone. the night i shaved it off, i had an indoor soccer game. nothing says indoor soccer like a redneck "mustache". this did not last 2 hours... as soon as i got home from the game, it was off.
but i couldn't grow facial hair that long and not feel the thrill of being a super trooper. this actually lasted through one day of work... some at work still label that day legendary!
so i must admit i enjoyed it after it got past the itchy part. the upper lip just never softened up enough to make it bearable for kelli. alas. the amount of time it took to grow was a bit ridiculous and got me thinking about my brothers....
brian could grow a beard in a hour. here is an older picture of his at its best. i would have to confirm with him, but this may be two day's growth.
me at the pinnacle: 5-6 weeks.
and here is bill, 2 weeks without shaving.

all kidding aside, worm does get to save a lot of money on razors. who knows which one of us has it best... there are positives to each. what we do know is that this will probably not happen again unless kelli goes on a month long trip without me, which probably won't happen!

oh my gosh. I don't even know what to say.
I almost peed my pants. This. Is. Awesome. Poor Bill.
Bryan said (i) this is clearly the funniest blog post he's ever read and (ii) this is a very good glimpse of what Bill had to deal with growing up (but he lives in London now - so pbbbbbbbt)!
I think you should print this post up and frame it. I just might do it. It would look great in the man cave.
Billy may not be able to grow facial hair, but I think it helps him maintain his speed advantage.
I must say i'm a bit jealous of the beard, not to mention the 'stache! In the words of Rabbit...i'm growing mine out.
your beard looked very Pique-esque, but maybe it was just the soccer jersey. Again, impressive, but Brian is the mountainman of the family.
