and here is the whole outfit. he looks quite tired in this picture, but he was a trooper at the mall while we picked up some items on massive sale at gymboree.
quinn writing his first memoirs. they will be out later this year.

here he is in the bathtub. things have been so crazy lately we have not had time to put a continual effort into making bath time occur in the big tub. his latest game is to throw the washcloth over the edge. as you can see, his boats were not immune to the destruction and our floors are being reacquainted nightly with soapy water!

in spite of being under the weather, as this next photo details, quinn has been a super sleeper and extremely happy baby. we sure are blessed.

still, when you are feeling sick, sometimes you just have to crash for a quick nap. the little sasquatch is pretty good at that.

sweet potatoes are good! or is it prunes? acorn squash? definitely not pears, apples, peas, green beans, or oatmeal. praise God he is a good eater. those blue eyes are darling, if i may say so. cannot get enough of them...

when he is grown up, this is how i will remember my boy: cheerful and always with a smile on his face. we sure do love you, quinn.

and to add my comments regarding montreal: a very interesting city. i could see myself enjoying living there, especially with the french / english speaking thing. i would be a lost mess due to my lack of linguistic skills, but it would be fun. it is a little like boston in that there are very few chain restaurants. makes it fun if you find a good place to eat, but deciding what is good is the tough part. the "sights" only took about 1.5 days to see, but walking around the neighborhoods was fantastic. a few bands i like are from there so being in the city that provides the inspiration for their music is quite fascinating to me. the record stores we went to, especially l'oblique (highly recommend it), were very cool.
we picked up the new silver mount zion and an old frames album at l'oblique and the guy wrote the receipt out on paper with a carbon copy. it is cool that places like that still exist in this computer driven world. don't let kel and katie's descriptions of the stores lead you astray: they were awesome.

THOSE SHOES ARE ADORABLE! WE LOVE YOU QUINNY/Q-CASH/Q-TIP!
First of all love the shoes. I can kind of guess who thinks they're cute and who thinks they're dorky.
john, I love it when you post. :)
(not that I don't love your posts kel! you know that.)
I'm going to say the shoes are cute, because, well, I just bought a pair last week :)I can't believe how big he is getting! He's adorable
the shoes are so cute. mostly because anything quinny puts on is adorable.
I don't think anything can be deemed dorky until he's at LEAST 6 or 7 anyway so you're in the clear no matter what. He looks like a stud in everything he puts on!
