happy birthday caroline!

this year caroline was so excited about her birthday. SO excited. in fact, so excited that she woke up around 5 am ready to celebrate. nobody in this family is up that early. ever. so when you are up at 5 am in this family, you have to eat breakfast by yourself. even on your birthday!

her birthday party was the next day. she had requested a purple party so we had some friends and family over for a purple tea party. she was a happy girl with all of the purple decorations in the house!

happy, happy birthday sweet caroline. it's hard to believe that you're three - it seems like just yesterday that you were born even though you already seem so grown up at the same time. we love your joyful personality and the way you are so passionate about everything you do. i love the way you love your daddy, even though you are still such a mommy's girl. you love to tell jokes - especially made up jokes (that don't usually make sense but crack you up anyway) and entertain other people. you are becoming such a girly girl and love dressing up in princess clothes. you make sound effects when you run that make you think you're running "super fast". we know that you're going to be a great big sister and we can't wait to see you grow into that role.  you are hilarious and smart and sweet and we love you more than you'll ever know.
