polar express

on the friday before christmas, we had a special "date" night with quinn. after caroline went to bed, we all put on our jammies, made hot chocolate, and snuggled up on the couch to watch polar express. quinn had never seen it before and we thought that he would likely fall asleep, but he sure surprised us! he LOVED it and actually followed the story. he still talks about it ("the boy helped the girl find her ticket", "the man was on top of the train to help the boy", etc.) and still asks to watch "polar 'spress". we were right, though. one person did fall asleep. i'll let you guess who that was...
