time with the mabus family

several weeks ago, the mabus family had a layover in dfw airport so the kids and i headed up there with breakfast to meet our dear friends and play for a little bit. unfortunately it was john's first week of school so he wasn't able to go, which was really disappointing for him. but despite that, we had a great time and quinn and zek really enjoyed playing together!

we got to meet sweet baby titus and we introduced caroline to our friends for the first time

their smiles crack me up!

 

sadly, their flight was delayed on the way home so we didn't get to spend any more time with them for their return flight layover as planned. hopefully we will get to spend more time together soon. we love you, mabus family!!
