favorite things

right now, miss caroline LOVES "playing" in the fridge. as soon as she hears someone open the fridge, she takes off in a dead sprint (yes, there is such a thing in crawling) and usually has a small breakdown if you close the door before she can get there. if she makes it before you close the door, the scene usually looks something like this:

she loves to bang on the drawers and try to pull as much out of the door as possible. it's almost as appealing to her as the pantry, where she loves to stand up and rearrange the cereal boxes, bang on bella's food bin, and pull out all of the recycling from the container. who knew the kitchen could be so fun??!

and, as for quinn, he loves learning his letters and has learned that when you put them together it makes a word. he likes to put a bunch of letters together and then tell me which word he spelled. lately, everything seems to spell the word turtle...

"look, mommy! i spelled turtle!!"
