OK

my mom decided that for her birthday she would like to go up to oklahoma to go fishing. my great aunt and uncle have a house with a bunch of land and ponds that has been in the family for many years. we grew up going there for family get-togethers and holidays. so it's fun to now get to take my little family there and have a weekend filled with fishing, riding on the mule, taking walks, having a fish fry, and just spending time together...all the things i remember about that house from when i was little.

we mostly took turns staying at the house with caroline since she was to little to wear bug spray or sunscreen at the time. she did get to come with us a couple of times and i think she enjoyed herself!

my cousins cody and landry spent the weekend with us and it was fun having them there. this picture makes me feel really old - landry was our ring bearer when he was 6 years old and look how big he is now!

aunt kat gave quinn a thomas the train activity book for the weekend and the stickers ended up literally everywhere. we may be finding thomas the train stickers around that house for years. quinn was pretty proud of this masterpiece.
