a few weeks ago, quinn and i took "mommy and me" swimming lessons. before we started, i wasn't sure how much he could really learn at this age. however, after two weeks of lessons he has really become a little fish! he learned how to jump off the side (and the diving board, though he didn't like that so much), go all the way under water, and "swim" back with some help. if he has his arm floaties on he can do all of that pretty much by himself. i am so proud of him!

this is the huge slide they went down with their teacher! apparently alaina cried the whole way up and quinn cried on the way down...but the important thing is that they did it!
