freewheelin'

the last couple days we lived in boston, we wanted to visit some places we treasured. it was freezing cold, perfect for memories. q got the added bonus of his stroller being a little incubator since the sun was shining and got trapped by the plastic but the wind was blocked. here we are after parking by our fenway apartment.

we walked down kilmarnock, giving a cool-kid head nod to where thornton's used to be. even burnt to a crisp it is still the best restaurant in boston. we walked down boylston to yawkey to enjoy the view of fenway park. a quick stop in the red sox superstore netted the family a sox decal for the car. gotta represent down south. we completed our walk by going through the fens. bella and i played fetch with the museum of fine arts in the background.

and no, we didn't actually give the cool-kid head nod. that would be retarded.

since we procrastinated like pros on packing, we enlisted the help of some friends to move the process along. a huge thanks to team puetz, the panthers-to-be, thomasons, and liz for helping to pack and connie for taking q allowing us to focus only on packing. you fellows are amazing.

it wasn't all work though! kelly gave q some wonderful rides. think he enjoyed them?

in order for the thomasons to stay late packing, the girls went to sleep at our place. that meant the whole bedtime routine as well, and eden was hilarious in the bathtub with quinn. she felt he needed his hair washed...
in spite of the picture below, quinn really did enjoy it.
we are very grateful for the sacrifices made by people to love on us during our last couple weeks in boston. we cannot wait to visit and see everyone again.

It wasn't fun work, we weren't happy to be doing it, but if you were going to do it anyway we figured we might as well pitch in. :P

(I take that back - I think Eden quite enjoyed her job, washing Quinn's hair!)
