zoo day

2 weekends ago we met the wilsons at the fort worth zoo to enjoy the sunny day. it was a beautiful day. and now that quinn is old enough to appreciate the animals, he has so much fun at the zoo. he told us that his favorites were the giraffes and elephants this time!

looking pretty cool in our shades! of course, quinn's came off after this picture and he didn't want them on again. so it was only fun for about 5 seconds but that's ok.

btw, i realize this is not really an ideal or "recommended" way to carry a 2 month old in the carrier. but she loves to look out, so when i face her towards me she just cries the whole time. so we compromise and i snuggle her in this way, hang on to her, and she pretty much rocks it.

this was one of the coolest things we saw. the sea otters in the texas wildlife exhibit were so fun. you can stand right up against the glass and they were diving and flipping and swimming right in front of us. quinn was totally mesmerized!

such a fun day! thanks wilson family for going with us! now that you have zoo passes too we look forward to going often :)
