3 months!!

so the reason for the flurry of blog posts today was so that i could get this one up on time! finally made it...and it's a good one!

happy 3 month birthday to our sweet girl!!

caroline is growing and changing so fast these days. i'm not sure what her weight is since we didn't have a 3 month appointment with her pediatrician, but she's just about out of her 0-3 month clothes and starting to be able to wear the 3-6 month size. she can sit in her bumbo seat for longer periods of time and is holding herself up on her elbows during tummy time. she loves to sit up and look around, either when you're holding her or propped up on a few pillows on the couch. she likes her paci when she's sleepy, but she also loves sucking on her fingers.

the biggest change is that she's laughing a lot and starting to make more babbling sounds. she's still a pretty quiet baby, but you can get her giggling with funny faces and sounds and it's SO cute. she is also super ticklish on her tummy and her neck. she's always been a happy baby, but she's starting to be a little more vocal about it now!

she eats about every 3-4 hours during the day and just once overnight. she usually has her last meal around 7pm and is swaddled and asleep by 8. she wakes up around 3am-ish to eat and then is up for the morning around 7:30 or 8. she usually takes 2 good naps during the day and sometimes another little power nap in the evening. not a bad schedule for a 3 month old, i think!

happy birthday caroline grace. 3 months ago today we were welcoming you into our family and thanking God for the blessing of a precious baby girl. we have not stopped thanking Him since that day, for He has blessed us beyond measure and we love you more than you'll ever know. you bring us such joy!
