the monday after christmas we went to ICE at the gaylord texan with both sides of the family. we enjoyed a yummy mexican food lunch and had fun looking at all of the christmas decorations in the hotel. however, that is about where the fun stopped! it was past quinn's naptime and he was sick (not good planning on our part), so when we put on the huge parkas and entered the exhibit where it was 9 degrees, he was not happy. actually, that is an understatement. he screamed and cried the whole way through. not fun. along with gigi and papa, i walked him quickly through and met up with daddy and caroline in the lobby while the rest of the family enjoyed the ice sculptures and slide. maybe we will wait a few more years before going to that again. :)
