2 weeks

caroline's second week was a busy one! she spent lots of time with her family (which unfortunately has resulted in the cold she's fighting this week!), slept a lot, had her newborn pictures taken, attended her first christmas eve service, had her first christmas, and visited the gaylord texan hotel where she hung out with daddy while we visited ICE (more on that later!).

she also had her 2 week appointment with the pediatrician, where she weighed a whopping 9 lbs! i am thankful to have such a good eater!! she was 21.3 inches long and her head circumference was 37 cm.

caroline is such a wonderful baby and fits so well into our family. john and i just keep saying that we can't believe it's only been a little over 2 weeks since she was born because life just feels so natural and normal already. our family of 3 has so effortlessly transformed into a family of 4 and we feel so blessed.
