here he is playing with a train set given to us by some church friends. he loves his choo-choos and will drive them around on the tracks, the wood floors, your arms and legs... pretty much anywhere he can reach. could santa be taking notes? i guess we will have to wait and see...
he also loves his books. he is really into these pop up books about the zoo. they have numerous animals underneath flaps that the boy enjoys lifting.
both bear books (the bear snores on and we're going on a bear hunt) are also in fashion. he will tell you the bear sneezes (stating a-choo!).
reading that's not my dinosaur.
this one enters into the pantheon of pictures i have disgraced:
we finally got around to putting the ornaments on our tree. q was a big help, taking each by the hook and helping me hang them on the tree.
our current family around the tree. can you believe we are all looking at the camera? even bella! we cannot express how excited we are looking forward to meeting our daughter.
a little bragging of my talented wife. below is the wreath she made for our front door. it is immaculate. gigi did help, diligently wrapping the base with yarn, though k-dog made each flower from pieces of felt, bedazzlers, and a glue gun. she has made a few diy projects (menu board the most recent), yet this is her best to date, in my opinion. i hope by clicking on the picture you can see the detail of each flower.
two other random things about q: he has started to roar (like a lion, of course) and he tries to be real loud with it as if trying to scare us. it reminds me of where the wild things are. the other thing, which we may have mentioned here before, is what q says the rooster crows. we have long wanted to get a video of him being interviewed telling us what each animal says, but the rooster takes the cake. instead of cock-a-doodle-do, he says "cock-a-doooooooooo", holding the last syllable.
