almost 5 years ago we spent a wonderful weekend camping in the white mountains in new hampshire with the douglases, lucases, and thomasons. we hiked, rented canoes and floated down the river, and cooked and played games around the campfire. it was such a great time and we decided then that we would have to make it a tradition.

life has changed a lot for all of us since then! the lucases have moved back to nebraska, we are now in texas very close to the douglases, and the thomasons are the only ones still in boston. most importantly, SEVEN kids have been born since then! but the thing that hasn't changed is that we are all still great friends. and this past weekend, we were able to get everyone together and spend a wonderful weekend in glen rose...all FIFTEEN of us!

we had such a great time. the weekend was filled with fishing and playing in the river, easter egg hunts for the kids, feeding and petting the animals, visiting dinosaur valley state park, relaxing in the hammocks, and just enjoying time with friends. it was perfect!
