snow day

this morning, we woke up to this beautiful view from our balcony:

by our estimates, we got about 12-14 inches

houses and street covered in snow

measuring the snow in the front yard

we bundled quinn up after his nap and headed out to play in the snow. doesn't he look happy? :)

(btw, quinn's chin strap is obstructing half of his face because we had to buy him a size 2T hat. the kid has a big head. but at least it's a warm head!)

right before we went inside, we took quinn's gloves off to let him feel the snow

and he immediately burst into tears! guess it didn't feel quite how he expected it to!

after playing in the snow, we headed back inside to relax and enjoy the rest of our snow day!
