Of course we still managed to sneak in plenty of snuggle time. I miss those newborn snuggles already!
On Sunday afternoon, we took the kids to the water fountains downtown. It was HOT. But They loved running around in the fountains!
When you're the little sister, you just have to go along for the ride sometimes. Many times, actually. She got a good nap in the stroller while Q and C played.
My handsome little man!
Apparently the middle of the night help with Hazel's feedings are catching up with this one. She fell asleep at the dinner table after they played in the fountains!
Grammy and Grandpa happened to be downtown too, so they met up with us for dinner and dessert. It was a fun treat! Gelato always reminds us of Italy!
Tiny baby girl!
She just wanted to be held...all the time.
I braved a trip to the park so the kids could play outside after being such good helpers at home.
However, baby sister wasn't too into the park, so we didn't get to stay long. Q and C are learning that this is the fun of life with a newborn!
Later that week we had a very successful trip to the children's museum! We met Grammy, Kat and Elliott, and a friend and her daughter.
Swaddled and sleeping soundly in the bassinet that daddy made for her.
And last, but certainly not least, Elisa came to visit us that week! She was such a great help with the kids and even though I know that Q and C would have enjoyed playing with her kids, it was nice that she came by herself because we got a lot of sweet time together. I love that no matter how long it's been since we've seen each other (this time it was over a year), we always have a great time and it's like no time has passed at all. It's so nice to have friends like that. :)
(ps - Hazel's face is cracking me up in this picture!)
