hot day at the pumpkin patch

our nice fall outing to the pumpkin patch felt like anything but fall weather - it was SO hot. boo. not only are the pumpkin patches here lacking cider and cider donuts, we also had to suffer through sweltering temperatures while playing at the pumpkin patch. despite the fact that we were hot and sweaty, we had a fun time checking out the pumpkins and cardboard cutouts, going for a ride on the tractor, playing on the inflatables, and eating a picnic lunch before heading to barrett's birthday party!

and yes, this was year #2 of scaling the fence to go see the thomas the train cutouts. thankfully, no ants this time!
