Germany (Part 2)

We arrived in Dresden about 9pm and were expecting a driver to meet us on the platform. However, he was nowhere to be found so after standing and waiting for a while (and being circled by some sketchy-looking men) we decided to take taxis to the hotel. Of course, that's easier said than done when you're traveling with 14 people, it's pouring down rain, you don't speak the language, and children are required to have carseats even for a short taxi ride. We split up, with some in taxis and some walking in the rain with kids who didn't have carseats, but we finally made it!

After another awesome breakfast the next morning, we set out to tour Dresden. It was beautiful!

we had a wonderful lunch outside on the river and uncle brian did a great job entertaining the kids while we waited for our food

singing happy birthday to carson - this sweet boy turned one while we were on vacation! what a fun place to spend your first birthday!

the kids loved this carousel at the beer garden where we had dinner

this girl loves to color. wonder if she'll be a lefty or a righty??

dresden was beautiful! this was the view from the beer garden.

we woke up early the next morning to head back to the train station for our next stop. these kiddos were wiped out from a fun day in dresden - they're so cute :)

after pulling them out of bed, we grabbed a quick breakfast and then were on our way to austria...
