when we found out we were pregnant with caroline, i was so excited that quinn would have a sibling so close in age. i pictured 2 little boys playing together and being best friends. so after we got over the shock that we were having a girl (john's family historically does not have girls!) i began to pray that they would have a sweet, special relationship just like i had pictured when i expected caroline would be a boy. i am so thankful that so far they do have that kind of relationship. quinn is an awesome big brother and they have so much fun together! of course there are occasionally fights, hurt feelings, and jealous moments. but thankfully those are few and far between.

this isn't one of them playing together, but it cracks me up. i was trying to get a picture of c in this dress that katie made, but check out the hipster in the background...looking all cool in his popped collar and shades ;)
