Easter weekend

After the church Easter egg hunt, we drove down to Conroe to spend the weekend with both sides of the family. It was a fun weekend with everyone all together!

Quinn helped Grammy decorate for Easter

On Saturday morning, we read the resurrection story with Quinn and made resurrection rolls for the first time. He soaked it all in and was so excited that Jesus was not in the "tunnel" anymore after we baked them!

We ate breakfast and then all went to the playground. Happy girl with her Papa!

We got the bike seat ready for Quinn, thinking he would have fun riding on the bike with John on the way to the playground. But when it was time to go, he decided he didn't want to do that. However, this brave baby girl was pointing at the bike and really wanted to go for a ride! So she rode behind John on the way there and back and LOVED every second of it!

Cutie with her bike helmet on :)

Failed attempt at getting a cousin picture...apparently the wood chips were far more interesting.

The guys (yep, the grown-ups) had a contest to see who could jump furthest out of the swing. It was pretty funny and made for some great (aka embarrassing) pictures :)

Silly face with Uncle Earl

Sweet friends at dinner on Saturday night. I love the way they love each other!

Precious boy with his new VeggieTales coloring book

Oh, how I love snuggles from my sweet girl.

And....getting dirty in their Easter clothes

Perfect picture of each of their silly picture faces

Unfortunately, a storm rolled in and the egg hunting was cut short. He had fun while it lasted, though!

Miss Caroline had fun with Grandpa all weekend

Watching the rain

Yep, silly picture face again!

Nothing beats kisses from my baby girl

We had a great weekend filled with family, lots of playing, karaoke (including a John/Earl duet that made us laugh so hard we cried), yummy food, and celebrating the love that our God has lavished on us, that he would give his only son to die for us. It doesn't get much better!
