Quinn has really been asserting his independence lately - as much as a 2 month old baby can. After he eats, he really wants to play and he wants to do this on his own. He likes to be held when he's sleepy, but other than that he really wants to be put down to play. His favorite places are his playmat, the couch or ottoman in the living room, his bouncy seat, the guest bed (so he can look out the window), or the changing table. The changing table is by far his favorite.
Here's a (kind of long) video of him playing on the changing table last week. Usually he smiles and talks to me a lot while he's playing, but of course he stopped doing that just as I picked up the video camera, so this is a more serious playtime than normal :). He also loves to be naked (such a guy already!) but since he peed all over my jeans on Monday, we compromise by letting him have playtime in just a diaper. I learned my lesson!
