Quinn had his 2 month appointment yesterday with the pediatrician. He has really grown a lot since last time - he weighs 11lbs 3 oz (35th percentile) and is 23.5 inches long (69th percentile). He's definitely still a little guy, but he's catching up quickly! Everything went great except that he had to get 3 shots. It was so sad! He was just playing on the exam table, not expecting a thing and then all of a sudden he gets stabbed 3 times in the thighs. He actually did very well - he screamed until I picked him up but then calmed himself down very quickly. Afterwards, we treated ourselves to a shopping trip and lunch at chick-fil-a. Ok, so maybe that was just for me (the one that didn't even have to get shots yesterday) but he definitely seemed to enjoy his 2 hour nap in the stroller!

This kid needs extra strength velcro on his swaddle blankets! He can seriously break free from EVERY one we have. This is how I found him last week about an hour after I put him down. He squirmed all the way down on his wedge and got both hands free. Apparently he just wanted a headrest and to cross his hands over his belly!
