conroe and celebrating baby b

The kids and I spent a weekend in Conroe/Houston so that I could meet up with my ZTA girls to celebrate Kellie and Baby B.  We also had a fun time staying with Grammy, Grandpa, AK, and Carson.  AND we got to have a mini "gender reveal" with the cousins to find out if Carson was going to have a baby brother or baby sister.  It was a full weekend!!

We got there before everyone else so we explored in the backyard for a while.  Caroline had a handful of roly polies by the time we were done.  She LOVES her some roly polies.  Unfortunately a little too much - she carries them around in her hand with a death grip (literally).  When it's time to go inside, we usually find that most of them haven't survived the experience.

the next day, the cousins found a turtle in the yard.  we watched it for a while, but it was being shy and didn't want to do anything for its audience.

Kentucky Derby themed baby shower for Kellie! It was a fun afternoon with these girls that God brought into my life (gasp!) 14 years ago!
