christmas day 2013

this past christmas was our first christmas in our new home. we had only been in the house about 3 weeks, so between unpacking and getting ready for christmas and celebrating caroline's birthday, we didn't really have much time to actually decorate for christmas! but it was great anyway and so fun to enjoy it with our family.

walking in to see everything for the first time

a kitchen and a bike from gigi and papa!

she loved her new backpack! thank you, aunt kat and uncle earl!

yummy breakfast - homemade cinnamon rolls and egg casserole

snuggle time with uncle earl

kat won the baby bump contest

another surprise when grammy and grandpa arrived - a new trampoline for the backyard! thank you, grammy and grandpa!

nap time with grandpa after all that jumping

puzzle time - what a good way to spend the afternoon on christmas day.

christmas is not complete without chocolate pie

setting up the new hot wheels race track. notice c still has her backpack on!

first ponytail!!!

we enjoyed spending a relaxing day with family as we celebrated the birth of our Savior. there's not much that can beat the joy of celebrating Christ's birth by spending the day with our family and seeing the joy in our babies' faces as they experience our love in a tangible way.
