we just got back from a fabulous trip to texas! we had so much fun spending time with our friends and family and i had the honor of standing at the front of the church with amanda on saturday when she married jared.

grammy and grandpa came over for dinner that night and quinn had fun being loved on by all 4 of his grandparents!

the next day, quinn got to go swimming for the first time in a big pool. he got to swim in the morning with amy, audrey, and alaina and in the afternoon with landry and athen. what a fun day! doesn't he look so cool in his mohawk hat and shades??

that night we went out for yummy mexican food with amy, troy, audrey, and alaina and then went back to their house to play a little before bedtime. sweet alaina was the only baby who wanted to smile for this picture!
the next day, we drove to waco for the bridesmaid luncheon and rehearsal dinner. here's jenn (the mommy-to-be!), amanda, quinn, and me at the rehearsal.

the wedding was so much fun and we really enjoyed spending time with our friends. thanks mom and dad for watching quinn so we could enjoy all of the wedding festivities without having to worry about getting him home in time for bed!
we got up sunday morning and drove back to arlington in time for church and then met john's parents for lunch and spent the day with them. quinn had fun playing with grammy and napping with grandpa.
and look what they brought him from london - an england kit!
we drove back to keller that night in time for quinn to go to bed and spent monday and tuesday there until it was time to fly back to boston.
what a great trip! quinn had so much fun getting to swim almost every day, spending LOTS of time with his grandparents, and going to his first wedding. and he was a GREAT sleeper in the pack -n - play which made things so much easier. thanks grammy, grandpa, gigi, papa, and aunt kathryn for a fun trip. we'll see you again soon!

Looks like you all had a great time!!! So glad you enjoyed your time at home with family and friends! Quinn looks so cute and you look absolutely beautiful at the wedding!!! Your smile is just beaming!!! Love you all and can't wait to be with you very soon!
I know Sally was really happy to hang out with y'all. She told my mom what a sweet little boy Quinn is. And MAN - is he adorable!
